Your support means everything to us!

​We rely exclusively on the generosity of our individual and business-based donors to provide the necessary funding for us to mentor and support elementary-school children. Path To Shine® can’t happen without monetary gifts, small or large, from people like you. And did you know you will be happier if you donate? Check out this article, or this TED talk.

Ways you can donate:

Online: Click anywhere you see the word donate, and it will take you to our online donor portal.

By check: Checks can be written to Path To Shine® and mailed to 2160 Cooper Lake Rd. S.E., Smyrna, GA 30080

Through family and friends: Do you have a birthday coming up? Are you celebrating an anniversary or your retirement? Do your children have enough “stuff” and you want to begin to develop habits about giving to others? Family and friends can be asked to make a donation for any of these (or other) special occasions. We will thank them on your behalf and let you know that a gift was made in your honor.

With a gift of securities or IRA Charitable Transfer: Did you know that a charitable gift of stock can provide you with tax advantages? And, if you are 70½ years of age or older, a transfer from your IRA directly to Path To Shine® will not be included in your gross income. Consider asking your broker or financial adviser about these options. We would welcome the opportunity to meet with you and them, to discuss this further.

By way of Estate Planning: Consider Path To Shine® as a beneficiary in your Will. There may even be estate tax benefits for you, so discuss this with your legal and financial advisors. We would be pleased to meet with you as well.

Tax-exempt Status: Donations given to Path To Shine® may be used as a tax-deduction as advised by your accountant. If your donation is being given through a donor-advised fund, please direct your donation on behalf of Path To Shine® through St. Benedict’s Episcopal Church which acts as our fiscal sponsor.  If you need information about the EIN number, please contact us.
